Kellie's Castle
Located 30 minutes drive from Ipoh city, this castle was built by a Scottish
rubber tycoon, William Kellie Smith during the late 19th century but was never
completed as Smith left for England halfway through its construction. It is
believed that this castle has hidden rooms and underground tunnels. |

Lost World of Tambun
Step into a hidden world of wonder and adventure set among the lush greenery,
limestone hills and caves of Ipoh. Ride a river to do the doorway of an ancient

Teluk Intan Leaning Tower
This Pagoda-like structure was built by Chinese contractor, Leong Choon Chong in 1885
and originally used as a covered water tank to provide potable water for the town.
Standing at 25.5 meters tall, it has a leftward slant. |

Bukit Merah Resort
Opened to public since early 1997, this fun-filled gateway offers many attraction
and facilities – water park, hotel and a themed shopping area as well as banquet
and function facilities. There are also various lake and outdoor activities for
guest to participate. Straddling an area 11 acres, it is the largest water park
in the region of peninsular Malaysia. This premier waterfront resort is just right
next to Bukit Merah interchange and a mere 35-minute drive south from the Penang
Bridge along the North-South expressway. |

Perak Museum
The oldest museum in the country, which dates back to 1883. The best place to begin
an in-depth study of the state and its history as it houses an impressive collection
of ancient weapons, aboriginal implements, ornaments and archeological treasures.
